Lake Gregory Yacht Club has been running for nearly 15 years and has about 80 members using a variety of vessels. The Club is run entirely by members at the direction of the elected Bridge officers. Becoming a member means that you are willing to become involved in club activities and to contribute your time and expertise in helping your club to function and thrive. Your contribution can be as varied as helping with our many community events, assisting with or participating in sailing regattas, greeting open meeting visitors or helping to improve club facilities by participating in working parties. The governance of the club is through an elected Bridge, made up of Commodore, Vice Commodore, Rear Commodore, Treasurer and Secretary. The Bridge appoints various Committees and other officers. The Bridge is elected annually from the voting members and anyone interested in becoming involved in planning and delivering the club’s future is encouraged to seek election. Existing Bridge members will be delighted to provide more information on how it all works. LGYC is primarily an RC (radio controlled) boat club, an Associate member of the Southern California Yachting Association. In addition to the RC boats members sail vessels from ocean-going power boats to dinghies, catamarans, sailboards, kayaks and small sailing cruisers. We also have an active group with land yachts (RVs) and have outings and activities that include them and the water vessels.  Please click on the link below to view/print the membership application.
