Crest Forest Municipal Advisory Council
Serves as Crestline's "Town Council"
The Crest Forest Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) serves a vital role in the civic life of the Crestline – Lake Gregory mountain community by providing a regular scheduled structured forum for the exchange of views about local issues. The five members of the MAC are appointed pursuant to the California Government Code and operate within its provisions and in accordance with the resolution by the Board of Supervisors forming the Council plus specified guidelines. The Crest Forest Municipal Advisory Council provides the Board of Supervisors with information regarding community concerns and comment on future plans. The Council also serves as the advisory commission to the Crestline Sanitation District. In this capacity MAC members review and comment on levels of service and the district’s budget. The Crest Forest Municipal Advisory Council meets the fourth Wednesday evening every month.
