LGYC Member Boating
Lake Gregory Yacht Club
members engage in a variety of boating experiences. Members enjoy
sailing radio control sailboats of various sizes on Lake Gregory within
the section reserved by the County of San Bernardino. The area is
reserved for remote control sailboats and slow-speed electric power
models. The area is located on the South Shore parking lot accessible
off San Moritz Drive and is identified by signage.
In addition to model yacht boating, members also own a variety of larger
craft including kayaks, dinghies, fishing boats, canoes, runabouts,
pontoon boats, sailboats and motor yachts. Members cruise, fish,
explore, paddle and sail to local harbors and islands.
LGYC is a member of the Southern California Yachting Association (SCYA) and the American Model Yachting Association AMA.
